5 months!

Ok ok, so we know 5 months has come and gone, but we still must document it. Check out the shirt - "Lock up your daughters" :). Oh, and mmmmmmm feet!

...mesmerized by the TV! Typical, huh? If it's on, he'll crane his neck any which way he can to catch a view.

Alphabet cards!

Gram got us some alphabet cards for Christmas, but it's been tough to find the time to hang our new ABC's when we're home, not doing other stuff, and Mr. Jack isn't napping there. So far we've only gotten through L hung. Needless to say, everytime we sing the alphabet to Jack, we stop at L :). Soon we'll have to break it to him that there are more letters to learn!

Mmmm mmmm cereal

We waited for a special night to give Jackson his first taste of solid food - New Years Eve! He had been eyeing our food bigtime for awhile, and since he was pretty close to turning 5 months, we thought it was a good time to start. He loved it! The instructions of course have you prepare the rice cereal so it's incredibly watered down for their first meal, so it was a bit runny, but he loved eating with the spoon and knew just what to do with it. A natural! Every time that spoon went into his mouth, we heard "mmmmmm." I guess that means he liked it, even though we thought it smelled like cardboard!
